  • Screenshots (processed for AI analysis, not stored permanently)

2.3 Third-Party Authentication

When you sign in using Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture from Google. We do not have access to your Google password.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Process your authentication and account management
  • Provide AI-powered interview assistance
  • Process speech-to-text transcription
  • Manage your subscription and billing
  • Send you technical notices and support messages
  • Monitor usage to enforce plan limits (free vs. pro)
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

4. Data Processing and Storage

Audio Data: Audio captured for speech-to-text is processed in real-time using Azure Speech Services and is not stored on our servers. Transcripts are temporarily held in memory during your session.

Screenshots: Screenshots are processed by Azure OpenAI for context analysis and are not permanently stored.

Account Data: Your email, authentication tokens, and subscription information are stored securely in our PostgreSQL database hosted on secure cloud infrastructure.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Azure Speech Services: For speech-to-text transcription
  • Azure OpenAI: For AI-powered response generation
  • Google Identity Services: For Google Sign-In authentication
  • Payment Processors: For subscription billing (we do not store credit card information)

These third parties have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Secure token-based authentication (JWT)
  • Ephemeral tokens for API access (short-lived, automatically expiring)
  • Password hashing using bcrypt
  • Regular security updates and monitoring

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Audio and screenshot data are processed in real-time and not retained. If you wish to delete your account, please contact us at support@auraplusai.online.
